A down economy means high enrollment for Eastern Idaho Technical College. 
EITC announced an enrollment record of 909 students for spring semester 2010, a 13.2 percent increase from spring 2009.

Outdoor Life - May 2009: Idaho Falls straddles the Upper Snake River and is located in one of the most game-rich areas of the country. Species that call the Greater Yellowstone Region home include elk, mule deer, moose, bighorn sheep, mountain goats, antelope, mountain lions, black bears and bison.

Nordic Windpower employs seven people in Idaho now, but by the end of this year the wind-turbine manufacturer expects to have 25 employees in its Pocatello plant.
 
"We are using Idaho for a launch pad to support customers all over the country," said Prakash Ramachandran, Nordic Windpower's chief financial officer.
