The Greater Idaho Falls Chamber of Commerce says... Welcome!

Situated along the Snake River at the western edge of the world famous Rocky Mountains, Idaho Falls has all the features of big city living, but still embraces a small town charm. Our skyline consists of the majestic Teton Mountain Range, and in our backyard is the world's most famous park — Yellowstone.

Offering our own symphony, opera, chamber orchestra, community drama, performing arts groups, museums, zoos and, of course, professional minor league baseball, it's hard to imagine finding nothing to do.

The Idaho Falls Chukars are the proud affiliate of the Kansas City Royals.

2009 Schedule

Baseball has been played in Idaho Falls since the early 1900's. In fact, an Idaho Falls club belonged to the short-lived Utah-Idaho League between the years of 1926-1928. It wasn't until 1940 that the Idaho Russets joined the relatively new Pioneer League. The Russets replaced one of the inaugural teams of the Pioneer League, the Lewiston Indians. Two years later, play was suspended for just about all of Minor League Baseball for World War II. Baseball officially started again in 1946.

The Idaho Falls Downtown Development Corporation is a non-profit corporation dedicated to establishing Historic Downtown Idaho Falls as the regional center for commercial, cultural, and leisure activities for residents and visitors alike.

An accomplished artist, Marina is driven by her passion to paint in the outdoors. Like the Russian impressionists who inspired her, she tries to chase and capture the light and moment of beauty in every piece she creates. The end result are highly colorful pieces with bold application of paint that are filled with emotion.
