The Regional Development Alliance, Inc. (RDA) is a non-traditional business lender located in eastern Idaho. The RDA's objective is to directly invest in qualified businesses in order to obtain a reasonable return on its investment, increase job growth, and retain quality jobs. The RDA serves seven counties in eastern Idaho including Bannock, Bingham, Bonneville, Butte, Custer, Jefferson, and Madison Counties.

The RDA uses the GrowthWheel® to help a business remain viable during its first three years of existence. Due to the fact that a majority of businesses fail within that three year time frame, the GrowthWheel® is particularly helpful because it uses smaller periods to set goals and to evaluate growth, thus ensuring a business does not attain too great a debt to revenue ratio within those critical first three years of growth.
