We are pleased to announce that Grow Idaho Falls and Bingham Economic Development Corporation have joined forces to become the Regional Economic Development Corporation for East Idaho (REDI for East Idaho).  We are the economic development agency for Bingham and Bonneville counties, Idaho.  Darlene Gerry is our Interim Executive Director and she is joined by Linda Martin, Certified Economic Development (CEcD) Professional, and Leah Rigby, Economic Development Specialist. 

We are proud to embark on our new mission of marketing the many attributes of our great region to businesses looking to move and/or expand.  As Darlene Gerry recently said:  “REDI is about more than Bingham and Bonneville counties, it’s about the region in the broadest sense. When we work collaboratively to attract companies looking to relocate and to help our existing industries grow, we all win,” said Gerry.

REDI for East Idaho’s vision is to inspire community vitality, galvanize regional collaboration, and improve infrastructure by providing best-in-class people, tools, and processes utilizing a single voice and source of leadership, knowledge, and expertise to advance economic development in Eastern Idaho.

Our mission is to provide leadership and excellence in economic development for communities in Eastern Idaho including public and private investors and partners.
Among our goals is expanding the business base and facilitating the creation of high-quality jobs in the East Idaho. We are here to make a strong business case for selecting our community for business relocation and expansion. Our job is made easier by a few simple facts:

COMMUNITY TO CAPITAL 2015

Idaho Falls, ID:  Community leaders will travel to Washington DC March 25 & 26, 2015 to meet with members of the Idaho congressional delegation to discuss issues affecting eastern Idaho. They will also meet with representatives from the US Chamber of Commerce, the Department of Energy and the Energy Community Alliance. Click for more details.

SelectUSA is an annual international investment exhibition and educational conference. This year, President Obama and Secretary of State John Kerry topped a schedule of international business and economic experts from around the world.

Idaho's presence at this event was an outreach to attract additional foreign direct investment and to promote trade relationships.

 



 

 

 

      

The 2015 Semi-Finals begin Thursday, Feb. 12 and run from 4pm - 7pm. The Finals begin Friday Feb. 13 and run from 3pm – 7pm. The competition takes place at the Energy Innovation Laboratory, 775 University Boulevard, Idaho Falls, and is open to the Public.
